FRIDAY, OCTOBER 16TH @ 6PM:

THE VIRTUAL DROP

The DUMBO BID is still hosting a super fun contest in which elephants will fly to raise money for PS307 + Dock Street School – only this year, its streaming on Facebook instead of floating down from the rooftops.

Tune in on Facebook Live for the reveal of our community video + a virtual Dumbo Drop with surprise guests + announcements of the winners.

SATURDAY, OCTOBER 17TH @ 10AM – 5PM:

(RE)DISCOVER DUMBO SCAVENGER HUNT

Scavenger hunt cards can be picked up from Dumbo Business Improvement District staff representatives on Washington Street. The scavenger hunt will lead participants to iconic neighborhood spots where activities and puzzles await! Completed scavenger cards can be submitted for a chance to win prizes. As an additional element, light-up Dumbo Drop elephants will be hidden around the neighborhood, and those who locate a critical mass of elephants can be entered to win additional prizes. Scavenger hunt cards are free if you’ve entered the Drop or can be purchased for $20 with proceeds benefiting Dumbo’s Title 1 Schools.

SUNDAY, OCTOBER 18TH @ 10AM – 5PM:

THE ETSY DUMBO DROP ART EXTRAVAGANZA

Creatively Wild will facilitate souvenir elephant decorating, while a replay of the virtual Dumbo Drop is broadcast. Hour-long reservations to ensure social distancing are required and can be made at https://www.eventbrite.com/e/dumbo-drop-2020-the-great-pivot-the-etsy-art-extravaganza-tickets-121457222823.
